What is "Weekly RoundUp" [Journal Prompt]
So what is “Weekly RoundUp”?
Essentially, Weekly Round up in terms of Journaling is a weekly entry where you choose a day to reflect on the week.
First: On a blank page, (of course after writing out the date xx/xx/xx - xx/xx/xx) The top line you will write in one sentence how you felt in the beginning of the week.
Then move down to the bottom line and write how you feel at the end of the week or at the moment (assuming you are writing it day of.).
Now, as you can see there is a giant gap between the two lines, you fill in the gap. Going line by line from top to bottom, you write out - like steps to a recipe -how you got from Emotion 1 to Emotion 2.
You don’t have to do this but I like to put “+” and “-” in front of each step to signify whether that step was a positive or negative.
And that’s pretty much it. It’s a cool little exercise for reflecting on the week. Also a great way to write in your journal if you think doing a daily journal is too time consuming.
Do you have any suggestions on how to make the Weekly Roundup better? Ill love to hear from you. Leave a comment below
UPDATE on tiktok:
First of all, If you are some of the few people that followed me from TT, I want to say thank you. It really warms my heart to see people actually interested in my content to jump ship.
So Last week I was doing all my Journaling content on Tiktok but they are so money hungry the only way you can grow on there is if you spend a little bit of money to have chance of people seeing your videos. There is no such thing as true organic growth on tiktok anymore (if youre not young and attractive anyway).
I am finally moving away from that platform for a few reason.
The pay to win structure
The policy that seem to work against you (for example: the video above is the typical quality of the videos I post on TikTok. More than once my videos would get zero views or down right rejected or reported for “poor quality”)
I was suspended from paying for ad space because of reason #2….for 10 years. I appealed it last week but as I guessed then TikTok just didn’t look at it. That means I can’t grow as a content creator on TT.
I was angry at first but you know what? I look at this as the push I need to focus on ONE Social media and that’s here on Substack.
