If this is your first time with me I run a few podcasts ( The Whomst podcast, A couple of Blerdz, and Fat girl magic) even though the podcasts aren’t household names I take great pride in how my shows sound even though I have a very low budget. So I make this post to maybe help guide new podcasters toward good quality products that I use that are cheap price wise.
listen to my podcast to get a sense of how these mics sound.

Want an even cheaper way to start?
all you need is ONE thing (besides a computer) and that one thing is a simple USB Mic. A Blue Ice USB is cheap and perfect for the job. You don’t need to buy a $300 mic to sound good I promise. Listen to any episode after episode 100 of THE WHOMST PODCAST and I am using a Blue ICE for recording.

It does the job and its extremely portable and more importantly durable. It’s not cheaply made.
This is a short post but that’s the point. It doesn’t take that much. Happy podcasting.
